October Movie Review - Taken 2

Taken was soo cool. It wasn’t amazing but it was quite a surprise which made it go viral back in 2008. For years later and Liam Neeson is back to cash in on the namesake with Taken Too? Taken 2 is so bad that I think it somehow made the first one worse. It’s a thrown together case study on how movies are made these days just to make more money. The story is ridiculous, the script is pretty poor, the action is cliche, and the whole project is laughable. For a moment I thought the movie was going to be so bad it was good but it just turned out to be blah.


A year after Kim (Maggie Grace), Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson)’s daughter was taken in Paris, we join this marked family in Istanbul, Turkey. Bryan’s ex-wife, Lenore (Famke Janssen) is separated…again and the two of them are starting to rekindle the flame.
